Making it happen

Working with a newly established brand world, handed to us at the beginning of the digital phase of work, we set out to bridge the gap between branded communication and digital practicality. Resulting in a digital experience that is bold and engaging, yet informative and clean.

A project with hundreds of stakeholders, all with specific requirements for the site, our challenge lay mostly in how much visual engagement we could build in without compromising the enormous amounts of content they wanted to include. From hundreds of case studies, to multi-level depths of information about their services.

Not only is the site big, its complexity deepens through its unique deployment depending on the users location. Content is served to be most relevant to each user, including what comes back when they search. For instance, Australian users will discover local projects and people before being shown the wider global offering.

A system for success

We developed a set of systematic, modular design patterns that could adapt to delivering different kinds of content, making it easier for their internal teams to continue to build pages — without fear for which module does which job.

Keeping the application of brand simple allowed us to put more energy into dynamic interactions & features that elevate the experience.
